I spent four years on the channel side of IT, at Lenovo. I know how partners make money, and why most MSP and reseller websites don’t produce pipeline.
Referral-dependent.
Growth stalls when referrals slow down, because the website isn’t a real lead source.
Template sites.
Many MSP and reseller sites run on templated copy shared by dozens of other providers. Google and AI have no reason to pick yours.
Logos, not proof.
Vendor badges show who you partner with, not why a buyer should choose you.
No city, solution or industry pages.
If you cover five cities, sell three solution lines and serve three industries but have one “Services” page, you’re invisible for most of what buyers search.
My research
In October 2026 I asked 16 real buyer questions about 10 IT firms in 10 US markets, 10 times each on ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude: 640 answers. Four of the ten firms were never named once. Only one was named reliably.

MSPs & MSSPs: You sell services in a defined area. I focus on local visibility: city pages, Google Business Profile, reviews, vertical pages, and getting recommended when AI is asked for a provider near the buyer.
VARs & IT Resellers: You sell solutions across a region or nationally. I focus on solution and brand-category searches, vertical landing pages, and quote-request paths that turn product research into conversations.

THE COGNITIVEAISEO METHOD
AI assistants do not recommend firms by chance—they synthesize sources based on accessibility, clarity, and authority. I build and optimize your firm’s digital footprint through a systematic 6-step framework:
01
Be Findable
· SEO
Ensure your website is crawlable, fully indexed across major search engines, and open to AI agents. If an assistant cannot access your data, it cannot quote you.
02
Be Consistent
· SEO + GEO
Align your firm’s name, services, locations, and strategic partners across your site, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, and core directories, backed by matching structured schema markup.
03
Be Specific
· SEO + AEO
Build dedicated pages for every core service, solution, target industry, and key market, structured around the exact follow-up prompts AI search engines query during synthesis.
04
Be Quotable
· AEO
Format key insights into direct, concise statements supported by hard metrics, proprietary data, and authoritative sources that AI models can easily extract and cite.
05
Be Validated
· GEO
Strengthen third-party consensus through high-authority directories, partner ecosystems, client reviews, verified case studies, and media mentions that corroborate your core messaging.
06
Test, Benchmark, & Iterate
Run recurring monthly prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, and Claude to audit recommendations, track source attribution, and patch content gaps.
Reporting
Rankings move over weeks and months, not days. So I report on trends that matter, not daily noise.
Google Rankings
Reviewed monthly, with the trend over time for the searches that bring you buyers.
AI Citation Tracking
A monthly snapshot of how ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude describe and recommend you.

One senior strategist does all of it. No hand-offs, no junior account reps.
I’m Marvin Blanco, founder of CognitiveAISEO. I’ve spent 20+ years in search, and 4 years as an account manager at Lenovo, managing a book of 500+ partner accounts: resellers, MSPs and integrators. I saw the same pattern again and again: great technical companies with websites that did nothing for the business. CognitiveAISEO exists to fix that, with SEO and AI visibility built specifically for the IT channel.
Have vendor marketing funds? Some partner programs may cover parts of this work. I'll help you check what qualifies.
